Student Life
When our students are asked to describe Aquinas in one word, they frequently will say, and usually with a smile, “Family!” The sense of community that imbues every aspect of our school is instrumental in forming a support structure where our students can confidently grow in faith, character, and scholarship. It begins with the dedication of our incredible teachers who genuinely want to see each student thrive. It’s visible within the student body in the way that they rally around and support each other. It’s present within our community of parents, grandparents, alumni, and friends who continually support the mission of our school.
A school with more than 65 years of history is bound to develop some traditions. Some of those traditions include Freshmen Week, Homecoming/Spirit Week, Retreats, and the Senior Trip. One tradition that every student enjoys is our ATC (Aquinas Tailgating Coalition) which enthusiastically supports our Fightin’ Irish Athletic teams.
