Auburn Youth Programs
Summer camp registration opens December 1st for the upcoming summer. Some program fill up quickly, so don’t delay.
Augusta University VolunTeen Program
Wellstar MCG Health’s VolunTeen program is designed to provide students, ages 15 to 18, access to the operation of a world-class medical center. Wellstar MCG Health offers volunteer opportunities for high school students in a variety of settings to support the patient experience in clinical and non-clinical departments, clerical work and wayfinding.
This year’s summer program will run from June to July. Applications and required forms are due by Feb. 29. For more information and application forms, click here.

Augusta University GenCyber Program
Sponsored by the National Security Agency and National Science Foundation, GenCyber is a 6-day, residential summer camp open to students with diverse cybersecurity experience. If accepted to the yearly camp cohort, campers will enjoy engaging, hands-on learning opportunities including classroom activities and field trips to NSA Georgia and the Fort Gordon Cyber Center of Excellence.
Bank of American Student Leaders Program
Since 2004, Student Leaders® has been part of Bank of America’s ongoing commitment to youth employment and economic mobility. They are helping to prepare a diverse pipeline of community-minded young students to be successful in the workforce through leadership training and work experience.
By driving responsible growth, we deliver for clients and address pressing societal issues, including advancing employment opportunities for youth and young adults. Through our Student Leaders® program, we annually connect more than 300 community-minded high school juniors and seniors from over 100 communities to employment, skills development and service.
The students hail from many diverse backgrounds, but are united by their drive and commitment. Through paid internships with local nonprofits and participation in a national leadership summit, they gain practical work and life experience.

Carolina Masters Scholars (USC Summer program)
Christendom Best West Ever Summer Program
This highly acclaimed program, designed for rising high school seniors, offers participants a unique educational, cultural, spiritual, and fun-filled experience, all for the incredibly low cost of $600.Each year, more than 300 rising high school seniors take part in the program, and leave campus with a new appreciation for the liberal arts, Catholic culture, true friendship, and the beauty of God’s creation evidenced in the Shenandoah Valley of Virginia. Students from Aquinas High School can attend The Best Week Ever on a full $600 scholarship with the code AQUINASHIGH. That means they can attend completely FREE of charge!

Emory Youth Theological Initiative
Georgia Boys State
Georgia Boys State is a comprehensive one-week course in state and local government and is a program of the American Legion Department of Georgia. The date for the program is June 9-15, 2024 and will be held at Valdosta State University in Valdosta.It is a “leadership action program” where qualified male high school rising seniors (current juniors) take part in a practical government course. It is designed to develop a working knowledge of the structure of government and to impress upon the citizen the fact that our government is just what we make it. Along the way delegates have the opportunity to learn the political process by organizing a mythical 51st state. Each level of government is run by those delegates who are elected to serve. Instruction is presented on the law and court system, parliamentary procedure and Georgia political history.
Georgia Department of Natural Resources Career Academy
The Georgia Department of Natural Resources (DNR) is looking for the next generation of DNR employees who will care for Georgia’s natural and cultural resources. This summer, DNR invites high school students to a week-long summer camp where students will have the opportunity to explore future career options, receive training and education, and make connections with current DNR employees. Attendees will work alongside field professionals and receive hands-on training from game wardens, park managers, and wildlife, fisheries, and marine technicians while traveling across the state visiting wildlife management areas, state parks, fish hatcheries, historic sites, and Georgia’s coast.

Global Citizen Program
The Global Citizen Program is a series of international and domestic student travel programs designed and curated for middle, high school and college students. Students will learn what it means to be a global citizen, not just by traveling abroad, but by stepping out of their comfort zone, engaging in meaningful conversations and being immersed in new cultures.
Naval Academy Summer STEM Program
Thinking of a career as a coder, game developer, designer, or robotics engineer? Then start with the experience of a world-class program like the Naval Academy’s Summer STEM Program.
STEM is all about exploring, creating, building, and making things better, and at our Summer STEM Program, you’ll do just that. You’ll work with students from all over the country as you test your problem-solving, creativity, and collaboration skills. The application will close on April 15, 2024.

Notre Dame- Pre-College Programs
High school freshmen, sophomores, and juniors can apply to take a college-level class on campus or online with Notre Dame in summer 2023! Summer Scholars and Summer Scholars Online students have the unique opportunity to learn from Notre Dame faculty and meet other students from across the globe. Applications are due February 20, 2023.
Piedmont Hospital Junior Volunteer Program
Teens aged 16-18 may participate in our Junior Volunteer program. Since the annual program begins in early summer, interviews are held in April, with an orientation in early June. Interested young people should contact the Volunteer Services Office at 706.774.8877 by February 28 to be put on a contact list. Students will be emailed the application that outlines the program requirements. Completed applications must be turned in by March.
Rhode Island School of Design Pre-College
Follow a college-level curriculum in the format that works for you with Pre-Collegiate Programs at Rhode Island School of Design. Applications open November 6, 2024. The residential Pre-College program allows you to live like a RISD student and work alongside hundreds of other creative, highly motivated students who will inspire you to push your limits and produce your best work.

US Naval Academy Sumer Program
Summer STEM is for current 8th, 9th and 10th graders and is a six-day residential camp here at the Academy. Attendees get to do hands-on math and science activities in our labs with our faculty and midshipmen. The program fee is $800. Summer Seminar is for current 11th graders and is a great opportunity for attendees to see what it would be like to be a student at the Academy. The program fee is $550. Need-based scholarships are available for both programs, including fees and/or travel.
Vanderbilt Summer Academy
VSA is an intentionally designed, accelerated residential program for academically advanced 7th through 12th grade students offered through Vanderbilt University’s Programs for Talented Youth. VSA offers one-week and two-week summer courses that are grounded in academic rigor and scholarly exploration, while also focused on fostering community and friendship. Not interested in a residential experience? Programs for Talented Youth also offers online experiences for rising 11th and 12th grade students through our Mentor Immersion program.
Virginia Tech’s Black College Institute
Applications for Virginia Tech’s 8th annual Black College Institute (BCI) are now live! We invite high-achieving and intellectually curious rising high school juniors and seniors to apply and participate in this summer academic leadership program!
This year’s BCI will be offered fully in person at Virginia Tech’s main campus in Blacksburg, Virginia. This residential program will offer one session for rising juniors and two sessions for rising seniors.
Current sophomores are encouraged to apply for the rising juniors session taking place June 30- July 3, 2024.
Current juniors are encouraged to apply for one of the rising seniors sessions taking place June 16- June 20, 2024, OR June 23- June 27, 2024. You can only participate in one of the two sessions. All programs are FREE of cost to students!
